High Work Stool

This high work stool is a very hearty piece of furniture. It is built with the same sturdy joinery that my chairs are made with and it features octagonal legs with a hand-planed surface and chiseled tapers on the stretchers. I use these in my shop for work stools and they are great in the kitchen for that extra person who isn't helping with the cooking. Sit on it with the wide side facing front or turn it sideways and straddle it.
