6 Drawer Dresser
This dresser is a clean, functional design that reflects my current approach to building case pieces. The dovetailed face frame and the hand-shaped thumbnail edge on the top are details I particularly enjoy incorporating, though many variations are possible and can be discussed prior to ordering.
All of my case pieces are custom built and designed to suit your needs. Pricing varies depending on size and design details, but once a quote is accepted and a deposit received, the price does not change. Considerable time is spent fitting drawers and refining the finish so that drawers slide smoothly and the surface has the proper sheen.
The interior of my case pieces is finished with shellac, which leaves the interior smelling clean and pleasant. Oil finishes can become sour over time, and many modern finishes retain a chemical odor. For the exterior, I use a Swedish-made oil varnish over oil to create a finish that is both durable and exceptionally pure.
