Dayton Sideboard
This sideboard has a rich, warm, timeworn character. It is built of poplar and finished first with a barn red milk paint, followed by black milk paint. The surface is then sealed with oil varnish and wax.
The black paint has been intentionally worn through in select areas, allowing the red undercoat to show. This layered finish gives the piece depth, warmth, and the feeling of age while retaining a refined presence.
