Below is a Waltham Side Chair painted with Federal Blue Milk Paint.

These are the same as my regular Waltham chairs but with the more minimal rail. For me they have a very 1700's look. More "Shaker" than the traditional shaped crest rail. I use these at my table. I like the arm chair but I use a side chair so that I can pick up my guitar that lives next to the table.

materials- poplar seat, ash spindles and legs, cherry rails.

finish- milk paint, oil , varnish, wax
