Waltham Bench with Arm Rail
This bench is based on my Waltham Arm Chair and came about at the request of a client looking for a bench form built around the same design language. I am very happy with how this piece developed—retaining the character of the chair while adapting comfortably to a longer form.
Shown below is the bench just after mounting the arm rail. The wedged tenon joints are visible here before being trimmed and smoothed.
